
In 1949, Charles and Ray Eames developed a new system of free-standing multifunctional shelves and writing desks. Similar to the Eames House that dates from the same time - the shelves and desks were constructed strictly in keeping with the principles of industrial mass production: the Eames Storage Units (ESU) and Eames Desk Units (EDU).
Plywood with a maple veneer, screen in coloured lacquer. Metal surfaces are brushed and galvanized with height-adjustable feet
