You can place an order through our online store by clicking the 'Add to cart button' at the bottom of the products description.
Your chosen item(s) available to view by clicking the 'Your Basket' text on the top right hand side of every page... click this when you are ready to proceed.
Once you have checked the order is correct click the 'Checkout' button and follow the instructions. You will need to set up an account and you will need to have your credit card and delivery address details ready.
All prices shown are in £ (GBP) sterling, and are inclusive of UK VAT at 20%.

You will receive email confirmation that we have your order please print or keep this copy for your own records. This does not mean we have accepted your order. Once your address has been verified and your credit has been approved your order will be accepted and the item shipped subject to our usual trading terms and conditions.
If a product is ordered from a supplier or if you have specific requirements, an order may take longer before it is in stock. Delivery times for products ordered from suppliers vary but they are stated with each product on the web site. Sometimes our suppliers will complete an order in less time so if you require your item as a matter of urgency, please let us know and we will make the relevant enquiries. Once your order is in stock, we aim to dispatch within 14 days.
Chaplins Furniture Ltd reserves the right to make adjustments to our prices in unforeseen circumstances such as supplier’s cost increase, new taxes and currency inflations.
At Chaplins Furniture Ltd we go to great lengths to illustrate and describe our products as accurately as possible. However, please be aware colours may vary due to the screen settings of your own monitor screen. If an exact colour match is vital, we recommend you order a sample swatch by contacting us on 020 8421 1779.
Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however slight variations may occur. Packaging may also vary from that shown.
Glass items may also have slight imperfections caused by the thermal process during creation. This can be considered a distinguishing feature of the craftsman work, which makes each piece unique.
All credit card transactions are performed via Barclays ePDQ system. The Barclays ePDQ system is secured online through Barclays Bank and we do not store ANY credit card details within our website. Your payment data is controlled via encryption to and from ePDQ making it impossible for any of your personal data to be transmitted from your computer and be intercepted by others. ePDQ will then process your credit/debit card details and validate them. You will then leave the secure section and be returned back to our website to finish the transaction. No credit card details are kept on the Chaplins Furniture Ltd website.

Free storage is available in the Chaplins warehouse for a period of two weeks from the date of arrival. Should you require storage for a longer period of time a fee of 2% on the invoice total will be charged on a weekly basis thereafter.
Your order will be delivered to you at the delivery address you supply to us at the time you make your order. Chaplins Furniture Ltd will do their utmost to deliver all orders within the lead times given, however, these cannot be guaranteed. Special order items may take longer to deliver.
Goods Made to Order
If the customer is unsure whether the product they wish to order is included in this category then they should contact us on 020 8421 1779 for clarification.
For any bespoke orders please note that Chaplins will not be able to change any such orders, make a refund or exchange any item that has been entered into production as per the customer’s own specification in a specific finish, colour, upholstery colour or size.
Customers should only order if they are sure that the item and finish is right for the customer’s needs as the customer will not be able to change the order after the item has been entered into production.
It is very important that the customer checks access to their property as delivery is on the basis that the dimensions of the product fits through all doorways, stairwells and within the area of intended use.
Once an order has been processed the customer is liable to purchase the items.
Standard items – Damaged or Faulty
Should an item be received damaged or defective, a replacement will be manufactured and will be delivered as soon as possible based on the following procedure:
4.Where items are large or fragile we reserve the right to nominate a specialist furniture handler for return transit and pass the cost of delivery onto the Customer. This transportation charge will be charged each time the Customer accepts a returns collection date but then subsequently fails to meet.

Cancellation by Us
All personal/company information provided by you or to gathered by Chaplins is kept private. We will not share any information gathered with third parties unless stated or permission is otherwise granted
Chaplins Furniture Ltd will not be liable for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable by either party at the time the contract for sale was formed. We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question (minus any delivery charge). If the goods are not what you ordered, are damaged or defective in any way, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability if you have not informed us of the problem within 3 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
